The mikuni carby is better than the BPZ30 carby, the tdr site doesn't mention what value jets are in it they are 100 main and 43.5 pilot from memory, the only thing is you need to tighten the screw for the fuel release and it doesn't hurt to check the 4 screws on the bowl, the needle in the slide is better than my old BPZ30 as it doesn't fully rise out of the guide the BPZ30 does, also there is no metal piece to install on the spring above the slide which makes changing throttle cables easier, I would recommend this mikuni over the BPZ30 I have never had a PZ30 so I can't comment on it but from what I've read the only difference from PZ30 and BPZ30 is BPZ30 has a diafram to reduce pops when the throttle is whipped open fast
